Eric Linn, accomplished Founder and CEO of Oak Point Partners, portrayed with the confidence and expertise reflective of his leadership in revolutionizing Remnant Asset recovery.

Eric Linn has served as Oak Point’s CEO since 2001, utilizing his extensive background to build Oak Point into the preeminent purchaser of Remnant Assets. Since pioneering the concept in 2006, Oak Point has purchased the rights to Remnant Assets in over 2,000 transactions and has developed its proprietary data mining platform called AssetIntelligence360°.

Outside of Oak Point, Eric is a seasoned investor and serves as a board member, advisor and mentor to a wide variety of businesses.  Included among his investments, Eric is a minority owner of Crystal Palace FC (English Premier League), Real Salt Lake (Major League Soccer), Utah Royals FC (National Women’s Soccer League), and Club Necaxa (Liga MX).

Eric serves as Chairman of The Wharton School’s Undergraduate Board, is a member of Penn’s Undergraduate Financial Aid Leadership Council, and also serves as a business mentor in the Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship Mentor Program. 

Prior to Oak Point, Eric was co-founder and CEO of an enterprise software business. Previously, Eric worked at TA Associates, one of the nation’s leading private equity firms. Eric began his career at investment bank Salomon Brothers, focusing on corporate finance and M&A work.

Eric graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Magna Cum Laude, 1992.
