Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the UBI Liquidating Corp. f/k/a Urban Brands Bankruptcy Estate in March 2015.

On October 19, 2010, Urban Brands, Inc. filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned case No. 10-13005.  Thereafter, a trustee was charged with winding down the estate for the benefit of creditors.  Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Urban Brands Bankruptcy Estate in March 2015.

The company also placed a large emphasis on technology, investing in new POS, planning and allocation, and finance systems to modernize behind-the-scenes processes.

Urban Brands also operated as Ashley Stewart, Marianne, and Kidspot.

The former headquarters of Urban Brands was in Secaucus, New Jersey.
