About Three A’s Holdings LLC
Founded in 1960, Three A’s Holdings was one of the largest specialty music retailers in the United States. The company operated over 90 stores, primarily under the name Tower Records. Tower Records became the nation’s first music megastore. Products sold in stores included CDS and cassette tapes, DVDs, mp3 players, video games, toys, and books in select locations. The company prided itself on hiring employees who were devotees of music and established relationships with its customers. Celebrities, such as Elton John and Colin Hanks, were frequent visitors to the stores, collecting music’s latest releases.
