Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of The Oak, Inc. (d/b/a Bloom Brothers Furniture) Bankruptcy Estate in May 2011.
On October 16, 2007, Bloom Brothers Furniture filed a chapter 7 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, assigned case No. 07-33875.  Thereafter, a trustee was charged with winding down the estate for the benefit of creditors.  Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of The Oak, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate in May 2011.
