Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Swets Information Services, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate (Swets) in November 2017.
On November 21, 2014, Swets filed a voluntary petition under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, assigned Case No. 14-33744. Thereafter, a trustee was appointed to liquidate the remaining assets of the estate. Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the Swets Information Services, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate in November 2017.
Swets managed subscriptions for libraries and publishers.
Swets also operated as Readmore, Inc., Readmore Publications, Inc., Swets & Zeitlinger, Swets Blackwell, Inc., and Swets Subscription Service.
The former headquarters of Swets was located in Runnemede, NJ. The company also had a corporate address in Exton, PA.
