Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Sturgis Iron & Metal Company, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate in January 2013.

On April 4, 2008, Sturgis Iron & Metal filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan, assigned case No. 08-02966.  Thereafter, a trustee was charged with winding down the estate for the benefit of creditors.  Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Sturgis Iron & Metal Company, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate in January 2013.
