On July 23, 2008, ProxyMed Transaction Services, Inc. (“ProxyMed”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the for the District of Delaware, assigned Case No. 08-11551. Thereafter, a trustee was charged with liquidating the estate for the benefit of creditors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the PMTS Liquidating Corp. f/k/a ProxyMed Transaction Services, Inc., Bankruptcy Estate in August 2015.
ProxyMed was an information technology provider for the healthcare industry that facilitated the exchange of information between payers, providers, and patients.
ProxyMed also operated as ProxyMed, Inc. and ProxyMed Lab Services, LLC.
The former headquarters of ProxyMed was in Norcross, Georgia.
