Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Liquidating Trust for the Plastech Engineered Products, Inc. Bankruptcy Estates (Plastech) in October 2017.
On February 1, 2008, Plastech and its affiliates filed voluntary petitions under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, jointly administered under Case No. 08-42417. On December 18, 2008, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Fifth Amended Joint Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and a Liquidating Trustee was appointed to administer the remaining assets of the trust. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Liquidating Trust for the Plastech Engineered Products, Inc. Bankruptcy Estates in October 2017.
