On February 17, 2012, Kaufman Bros., LP and its related debtors filed voluntary petitions for relief under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, jointly administered under Case No. 12-10664. Thereafter, a trustee was charged with winding down the estates for the benefit of creditors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Kaufman Bros., LP and KB Management, LLC Chapter 7 Estates in October 2015.
