Who Owns HMP Litigation Trust
Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the HMP Litigation Trust of the HMP Services Holding Sub III, LLC, et al. Bankruptcy Estates (HMP Services) in December 2017.
On November 8, 2010, HMP Services and its affiliates filed voluntary petitions under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 10-13618. On March 10, 2011, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtors’ First Modified Joint Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Trust was created and vested with the power and duty to administer certain assets of the Debtors. Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of the HMP Services Liquidating Trust of the HMP Services Holding Sub III, LLC, et al. Bankruptcy Estates in December 2017.
