Who Owns Evergreen Solar, Inc. Remnant Assets?
Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Evergreen Solar, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate (Evergreen Solar) in September 2017.
On August 15, 2011, Evergreen Solar filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 11-12590. On July 13, 2012, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtor’s Plan of Liquidation, pursuant to which the Plan Administrator was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the remaining assets of the Debtor. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Evergreen Solar Bankruptcy Estate in September 2017.
