Sharon Kopman, an accomplished Vice President at Oak Point, illustrating her multifaceted career in law, her involvement in international acquisitions and liquidations, and her significant contributions to professional forums and boards.

Sharon is responsible for originating remnant asset acquisition opportunities. Sharon has over 25 years of bankruptcy and employment-related legal experience. She has spent the past five years as both in-house counsel and managing director, focusing on acquisitions and liquidations both nationally and internationally of various types of assets.

Sharon is a highly-regarded speaker and panel member, appearing regularly at a wide range of events, including association panels, conferences, and news broadcasts and is a prolific author. Her professional affiliations include, among others, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, and the Turnaround Management Association. Sharon is on the Executive Board and is the CRRC Chair of TMA Global (2021); a director on CARE Global’s board (2021); a director on the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum Board (2021); and the past President of the Southern California TMA Chapter (2019) and the past Co-Chair of TMA NOW (2018). Sharon attended the University of Pennsylvania and Loyola Law School.
