Eric Linn is the Founder and CEO of Oak Point Partners. He has served as Oak Point’s President since 2001, utilizing his extensive background in private equity investing, asset recovery and operations management to build Oak Point into the preeminent purchaser of bankruptcy-related Remnant Assets.
Prior to Oak Point, Eric was co-founder and CEO of an enterprise software business. Previously, Eric worked at TA Associates, one of the nation’s leading private equity firms. Eric began his career at investment bank Salomon Brothers, focusing on corporate finance and M&A work.
Outside of Oak Point, Eric is a seasoned investor and serves as an advisor and mentor to a wide variety of privately held businesses of various sizes, stages, and industries.
Eric graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Magna Cum Laude, 1992. He is a member of Penn’s Undergraduate Financial Aid Leadership Council, and he also serves as a mentor in the Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship Mentor Program.
