Carrie has over 15 years of experience in the restructuring industry. Prior to joining Oak Point, she worked in private practice at Halperin Battaglia Benzija, LLP, where she represented companies both in and out of court, chapter 11 litigation and liquidation trustees, insurance companies, creditors, and official committees of unsecured creditors throughout the bankruptcy process.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Tulane University and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, Carrie served as a student clerk for the Honorable Robert E. Gerber in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. She is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
In her free time, Carrie loves to travel, especially to New Orleans for the Jazz & Heritage Festival. She also enjoys working on her tennis game and running.
