On June 20, 2012, Wyldfire Energy, Inc. filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, administered under Case No. 12-70239. Thereafter, a plan of liquidation was confirmed and a plan administration agent was appointed to liquidate all remaining assets. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Wyldfire Energy, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate in March 2017.
Wyldfire owned oil and gas leasehold interests and provided title and leasing services for oil and gas interests.
The former headquarters of Wyldfire was located in Palo Pinto, TX, and also had a corporate address in Wyoming.
