On December 8, 2000, USA Biomass Corporation filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, assigned Case No. 00-19719. Thereafter, a liquidating trustee was charged with winding down the estate for the benefit of creditors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the USA Biomass Corporation Bankruptcy Estate in October 2015.
