Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Union Stamping and Assembly, Inc. Liquidating Trust (Union Stamping) in May 2017.
On September 20, 2006, an involuntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code was filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, against Union Stamping under Case No. 06-20586. On October 3, 2006, the Court converted the involuntary case to a voluntary case. Thereafter, the Court confirmed the Amended Liquidating Chapter 11 Plan and a Trustee was appointed to administer the assets of the trust. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Union Stamping and Assembly, Inc. Liquidating Trust in May 2017.
Union Stamping manufactured and supplied automotive stampings and assemblies for automobile and truck manufacturers.
The former headquarters of Union Stamping was located in Cleveland, OH.
