On November 6, 2012, ThinkEquity filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned Case No. 12-13034. Thereafter, a trustee was appointed, charged with winding down the Bankruptcy Estate for the benefit of creditors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the ThinkEquity, LLC Bankruptcy Estate in November 2016.
