On June 11, 2003, Oakwood Living Centers, Inc. and its related entities (“Oakwood Living”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned Case No. 03-11822. The Oakwood Unsecured Creditor Trust was created and the court approved a Trustee, charged with winding down the bankruptcy estate for the benefit of creditors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Oakwood Unsecured Creditor Trust in July 2007.
Oakwood Living owned and operated senior residential communities.
Oakwood Living also operated as Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Mayflower Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Northwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The former headquarters of Oakwood Living was located in Wilson, WY.
