On March 13, 2015, Marburn Stores filed a voluntary chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, assigned Case No. 15-14411. On June 8, 2017, the Court entered an order confirming the Debtor’s Amended Plan of Orderly Liquidation and Distribution, pursuant to which the Disbursing Agent was appointed and vested with the power and duty to administer the remaining assets of the Debtors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Marburn Stores Bankruptcy Estate in December 2017.
Marburn Stores was a retailer of home furnishings that specialized in curtains, draperies, and window treatments.
Marburn Stores also operated as Marburn Curtains.
The former headquarters of Marburn Stores was located in Fairview, NJ.
