On May 17, 2004, The Heritage Organization, LLC filed a petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, assigned Case No. 04-35574. Thereafter, a liquidating trustee was appointed to administer the remaining assets of the trust. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Heritage Creditors Trust in September 2016.
