Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Crescent Oil Company, Inc., et al., Bankruptcy Estate in December 2014.
On February 7, 2009, Crescent Oil Company and its related entities (“Crescent Oil”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas, assigned Case No. 09-20258. In December of 2014, the Court authorized a structured dismissal of the chapter 11 cases and the remnant assets were sold to Oak Point Partners, Inc.
Crescent Oil was a petroleum distributor to over 340 locations in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Louisiana. In addition, it operated 35 convenience stores in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana.
The former headquarters of Crescent Oil was located in Independence, KS.
