On July 13, 2008, CMT America Corp. and its related entities (“CMT America”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, assigned case no. 08-11434. The case was converted to chapter 7 and a trustee appointed to manage the bankruptcy estate. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of CMT America in April 2013.

CMT America was a clothing retailer that focused primarily on the teenager and young adult segment.

CMT America also operated under several trade names including Urban Behavior and Weathervane.

The former headquarters of CMT America was located in Farmington, CT.
