Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Blue Water Automotive Systems, Inc., et al., Creditors’ Trust in December 2012.
On February 12, 2007, Blue Water Automotive Systems, Inc. and its related entities (“Blue Water Automotive”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, assigned case no. 08-43196. A plan of liquidation was confirmed, which transferred the remaining assets to a creditors’ trust to be overseen by a liquidating trustee. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of the Blue Water Automotive in December 2012.
Blue Water Automotive was a designer, manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered injection molded thermoplastic components for the global automotive industry.
Blue Water Automotive also operated under the trade name Injectronics.
The former headquarters of Blue Water Automotive was located in Marysville, MI.
