On December 17, 1999, BankVest Capital Corp. and its related entities (“BankVest Capital”) filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts, assigned case No. 99-47760-JBR. A chapter 11 plan was confirmed and a Liquidating Supervisor was appointed to liquidate the estate’s assets. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of BankVest Capital in December 2006.
BankVest Capital was a national provider of small-ticket commercial lease financing and related services, with transactions typically ranging from $5,000 to $250,000.
BankVest Capital also operated under several trade names including BVCIBC Funding and LeaseVest Capital.
The former headquarters of BankVest Capital was located in Marlborough, MA.
