On March 23, 2009, The Active Wallace Group filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, assigned Case No. 10-21670. Thereafter, a Dismissal Order was entered and a Liquidating Agent was charged with winding down the estate for the benefit of creditors. Oak Point Partners, Inc. acquired the remnant assets of The Active Wallace Group Bankruptcy Estate in September 2016.
Active Wallace was a retailer that sold apparel and accessories focused on skating, snowboarding, and surfing.
Active Wallace also operated as Active Ride Shop, Active Mail-Order, and Active Sweats and Surf.
The former headquarters of Active Wallace was located in Mira Loma, CA.
