Reece comes to Oak Point after more than 10 years of commercial litigation practice.  As a litigator, he represented individuals and business in state and federal court. His practice included representing insurance companies in investment disputes, bankruptcy litigation trustees in cases against directors and officers of bankrupt companies, and defendants in bankruptcy adversary proceedings.  He practiced at Boies Schiller Flexner, LLP and Amini, LLC in New York before joining Oak Point. 

Before becoming a commercial litigator, Reece lived in Maryland and Washington, D.C. where he represented low-income homeowners in mortgage and tax foreclosures cases. 

Reece earned his law degree at the University of Texas-Austin and studied philosophy at the University of Missouri-Columbia.   He lives in New York with his wife and two children.
